Pacific University Website

The Pacific University Library website was redesigned as a modern, user-centered digital gateway to research, discovery, and academic support. The goal was to simplify complex research workflows while elevating the library’s role as a central academic resource within the university ecosystem.

Grounded in UX research and information architecture strategy, the platform prioritizes intuitive navigation, streamlined search pathways, and clear content hierarchies to reduce friction and accelerate access to resources across devices.

Accessibility was foundational to the project. The site was developed to meet and exceed WCAG 2.1 AA standards wherever possible, incorporating semantic structure, full keyboard navigation, screen reader optimization, high-contrast color systems, and accessible interaction patterns to ensure equitable access for all users.

The platform integrates a sophisticated research ecosystem, including Ex Libris Primo and Alma, along with multiple academic databases and institutional tools. These integrations were carefully aligned within a cohesive interface to create a seamless, uninterrupted research experience.

The result is a scalable, performance-driven digital platform that reflects Pacific University’s commitment to academic excellence, accessibility, and innovation.
